The Richmond Rockets
We are still celebrating life...the life of our dear friend and Richmond Rockets team member who recently passed away on April 23 2020, Richard Chin. A beloved husband, father, brother, family to many, and friend to many - he always wanted to see others happy. Rest In Peace to our Dear Richie! A message from him via his family shown at his funeral service: " ~LOVE YOUR LIFE: Thank You for making me Rich, as friends and family are priceless. Be happy, smile and laugh, enjoy the journey, and keep on running!~ "
Hi Running Community, AMAZING NEWS! We are excited to announce the $1,000 Dollar Donation to our Richmond Rockets We 💖 the Seniors 5K/10K Race from Notre Dame Club of Staten Island BOLD Bread of Life Drive, to our JCC of Staten Island Senior Program (bringing the Notre Dame Club of Staten Island's total donations from the Notre Dame Bread of Life, for this current appeal, to $2,500 Dollars).
We want to give a SPECIAL THANK YOU and CONGRATULATIONS to the Amazing and Supportive Delaney Family, as well as Notre Dame Club of Staten Island Family who continue to support our JCC Family in raising Funds for our JCC Seniors Food Program and other related programs at our beloved JCC of Staten Island.
Please see the photos below of Joe Delaney's son-in-law, Thomas Babin, proudly wearing his Notre Dame Bread of Life Tee-Shirt while running in the Richmond Rockets 5-K Run for JCC Seniors and running his 5-K race in London, England. Go Thomas! 🏃🏃🏃🏃🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀
Thomas lives with Joe Delaney's daughter, his wife, Tracey and their three lovely children. Running in the streets of London with his Notre Dame Bread of Life Tee-Shirt, Thomas covered the 5-K in the time duration of 22:01. At the end of the Race, Thomas's one-year-old son, Octave Joseph, gave his daddy a big-hug! 😄😇😊💖 To add to his heartwarming story, thanks to Ronni, all three of Joe Delaney's children have had Trees planted in Israel, in their names. The Delaney's are truly a one-of-a-kind Family along with our JCC of Staten Island Family!
